Hot Date!

10 more days! Friday night, Mike and I went on what might very well be our last date as the parents of one child. I tell you, when we go out, we hit the town! I will fill you in on all of the juicy details :o) It's okay, you can read on... We went downtown Richmond where we had a reserved seating only viewing of the Red Cross Infant-Child CPR and First Aid dvd. Yep, you read that right. You are jealous, huh? We had to get our certification complete so that our homestudy remains up-to-date. Rather than do it after Rylee arrives home, we opted to do so beforehand. You would think on a Friday night (5-10pm) that the Red Cross might at least throw in a bucket of popcorn for us! They actually showed it at the business next door which is a business that designs Home Theaters so, we sat in a little home theater set-up. Although this place was cool, it smelled really, really bad - had some sort of leak upstairs. The class actually went til nearly 10. There were only 4 of us and the other two people left at 8pm. The instructor must have called his girlfriend so, she then joined us...It was a real treat. We are thankful to have passed the tests and to have it behind us. Our domestic homestudy is now updated so, we are good for another year. We have chosen to keep it open for one more year to see what God does. Three children was not in our plans when we got married, but then again who would have thought we would have taken the paths and journeys He has taken us in the 13 years of our marriage. That being said, He is so good and has never led us astray so, why would we shut the door on anything else He may have planned. Sorry, went off on a tangent...
